As an investigative filmmaker, I am inspired by the complex dynamics of our society. Fascinated by the human psyche, I try to create a playing field in which confrontation feels inevitable; in which unspoken inner worlds, moral contradictions and power relations are exposed.

From a female perspective, I investigate themes such as sex and male dominance. The viewer not only experiences my story but also that of other women. By collecting personal and shared experiences, I investigate the problems and strive to expose the extent and seriousness of often invisible power structures.

My work confronts, reveals and questions what is seen as normal. In a world in which most people live according to established rules and norms, I question these. What happens when we break through societal norms? I offer the viewer a confrontation, in which the uncomfortable gives space to and invites introspection and dialogue. It serves as a mirror for society, an invitation to examine the underlying structures of power and control and to become aware of how we position both others and ourselves in this.
